Will you consider becoming a volunteer? You can play a vital role in making sure your local Step Forward to Cure TSC walk is a huge success. There are several ways you can sign up to help:

Form a Corporate Team 

Forming a corporate team means you and your co-workers can make a real difference in the lives of those touched by tuberous sclerosis complex(TSC). Don't worry, we'll provide all the tools you will need to be successful, including a team fundraising web page where you can upload photos and recruit other team members.Step Forward to Cure TSC walks are family friendly and can help enhance your company's profile in your local community.To form your team today, simply register to find a walk near you and get started.

What are the volunteer opportunities?

Set Up

Help offload and set up materials at the event site. Some heavy lifting may be required. Supervised teenagers; no children.

Directional Volunteers

Volunteers are needed to report to designated locations to point walk participants in the right direction. These volunteers will need to be familiar with the walk route.

Start Line

Assist with getting the event started smoothly. No children or teenagers.

Finish Line

Help participants complete a smooth finish to the walk, including cheering! 

T-Shirt Tent

Responsible for handing out shirts to walk participants. Supervised children or teenagers.

Kids Area

Assist with face painting, arts and crafts and other kids activities. Supervised teenagers. Great volunteer area for groups.


Help register and check in participants.

Food and Water Distribution

Great volunteer area for groups. Help distribute water and food items to participants after they complete the walk.  Note: We need a few volunteers to set up this area who can lift heavy water cases.
